Their Music Lives On (Viktor Ulllmann and other artists)

To mark the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War, we are commemorating the works of authors who were victims of the war. Songs and piano pieces by Viktor Ullmann, Rudolf Karl, Pavel Haas and Hans Krása will be performed.

The concert will be preceded at 5.30 pm by a lecture by musicologist and translator Magdalena Živná on the personality and work of Viktor Ullmann and a presentation of his recently published monograph in Czech.
